ZIP files can't be saved manually. Save files one by one from the Export menu, or open LaVektra in a view that allows downloads.
LaVektra
Lite 1.0
LaVektra turns raster images into clean SVG vectors, then checks whether the result is fit to use or sell before you export it. It doesn't stop at the trace: every file is measured and given a readiness score, with a one-click fix for each issue.
Made for microstock contributors, designers, and anyone who needs to turn illustrations, icons, logos, or lettering into clean vectors without opening desktop software.
Key features
Precise color paletteColors are built in Lab color space from the inside of shapes, so anti-aliased edges don't add false colors. Colors can be locked or replaced.
Efficient curves, sharp cornersOptimal polygons and curve merging give as few nodes as possible without drifting from the original shape. Corners are detected and sharpened back to their original points.
Single-color modeLettering and line art become one ink color.
Tidy geometric shapesCircles, ellipses, and straight sides in icons become perfect, with as few nodes as possible.
Thin lines protected1–3 px lines are not dropped or faded, and thin colored lines still get their own color.
Smart background removalOnly the background connected to the edge is removed, so the whites of eyes and inner areas stay safe. Transparent PNGs are recognized right away.
Readiness checkNode count, colors, small specks, file size, and similarity to the original are checked against a rule profile.
ExportSVG layered per color, and PNG transparent or with a background at 1× or 2×.
PrivateEverything runs in your browser. Your image is never uploaded to any server.
Full versionAuto-fix, batch processing, EPS, PDF and JPG export, PNG up to 8×, up to 32 colors, Cutout mode, brush texture and custom rule profiles.
The limits in the built-in rule profiles are only examples. Match them to the contributor guidelines of your target platform before relying on them.
Open an image. Drop it on the canvas, paste from the clipboard, or click Open image.
Let the preset work. LaVektra recognizes the image type (flat illustration, icon, lettering, or photo) and picks the starting settings.
Read the Readiness panel. Issues marked Required must be fixed, Suggestion should be checked. Click a fix button.
Export. Choose SVG or PNG from the Export menu.
Trace settings
Number of colors
How many colors are in the final palette. Fewer means a lighter file, more means closer to the original.
Detail
How small a shape can be and still be kept. Lower it to drop specks.
Smoothness
The higher it is, the smoother the curves and the fewer the nodes. Lower it if small details disappear.
Stacked
Colors overlap, fewest nodes, looks smooth on any screen.
Clean up geometric shapes
Shapes that are almost certainly circles or ellipses are replaced with perfect 4-node shapes, nested circles (rings, eyes) share one center, and whole sides tilted by less than 2.5° are straightened. Only shapes that deviate very slightly are tidied, so hand-drawn strokes don't turn stiff. Turn off for deliberately asymmetric illustrations.
Keep thin lines
Protects 1–3 px lines: they're not treated as specks, don't fade when smoothing, and thin colored lines still get their own color in the palette. Turn off if the image is full of fine strokes you actually want removed.
Single color
For lettering and line art. The result is solid ink.
Remove background
Makes the background transparent. Turn off Keep inner areas if parts matching the background inside an object should become holes.
Palette
Click a color chip to change its color, or lock it so it doesn't change when the palette is rebuilt.
Reading the result
Compare
Raster on the left, vector on the right. Drag the round handle to compare.
Outline
Path lines and node points. Use it to spot areas that are too dense.
Difference
Red areas show where the vector deviates most from the original image.
Score
A 0–100 summary. As long as a Required issue remains, the status stays Not ready whatever the score.
Export formats
SVG
For the web and design apps. One group per color.
PNG
Transparent or with a background, at 1× or 2×.
Artboard size: 1 working pixel = 1 pt.

Tips for best results
Use a source image at least 1000 px on the longest side.
For JPGs, turn on Reduce JPG noise so compression artifacts don't become junk paths.
Photos and smooth gradients break into color bands. The result can work as an illustration, but microstock sites usually reject it as a vector.
Small text often breaks when traced. It's better to replace it with the real font, outlined.
Slanted, colored 1 px lines can still break at some points. Raise the Working resolution under Advanced, or use a larger source image.
